Took a look at USC roster. Don't know what created the situation, they have only 1 senior, 3 juniors (2 are walk-ons), 5 sophmores, and 4 freshmen. The top player is the senior, but the next main 4 are 2 sophs and 2 freshmen, along with the next 3 being 2 sophs and a freshman. Extremely young team.

Also, 5 players are from SC, 5 from NC, 1 from FL, and the 2 walk-ons from WV and VA. That I know of, they have a 6'9" center from Miami coming in who had offers from UConn, VA Tech, and Alabama. Unless, there is a cleaning of the house of underclassmen, there's not a lot of room for additions. A new coach would appear to be just holding the fort for the first year. If Horn's youngsters are not keepers, this project could take a few years.

here goes what happened. when coach horn first got hired we had a 6'8 coming in from dave odom's recruiting. wel coach horn said we don't want u .the player was out of atl. his coach was not happy and told our coach u not welcome here again. so he coudlnt get any atl talent since he has been here. u do 1 wrong in atl . other teams don't have anything to do with u .

then he brought in suppose to be our corner stone in his recruiting class lakeem jackson out of charlotte. well turn out this play is 6'5 230 shooting like 30percent from the free throw line. nothing special reb or scoring. then he brought in ramon galloway who is a baller. then he brought in what suppose to be a 3pt specialist.

well after last year coach horn asked our 3pt specialist to leave since he wasn't doing anything. then he told our galloway boy u might wanna look somewhere else b/c we have a freshmen coming in . also we had a former S.C. mr basketball player of the year murphy hollway. who came back home here in columbia after 2yrs at ole miss. he came here b/c of health issues in his family(wanna say mom)

well after coach horn told galloway u might wanna look somewhere else b/c a fr is coming and he will get a good amount of your minutes. that is when galloway decided to go back to philly and play at lasalle(which he had a sick duck against minnesota.so look it up on youtube)

after seeing that our S.C boy galloway says well since our leader is going i am going back to ole miss and that is where he is at. he didn't have to sit out another year. he sat 1 yr out after coming here 2yrs ago. he would of been playing for us and starting if coach horn didn't do what he did.



well our pg(bruce ellington) who was a great athlete when in high school playing both sports. was like,since murphy and galloway is gone. i will be going to play football. so that is what happened.

so usc was left with a 1st yr juco playing and a fellow sophmore in smith( who is not developed and ready to play pg)

since those 3 players left and we brought in a juco . we r left w/2 scholarships.


in the end we weren't suppose to be a young team. our starters would have been murphy holloway (rs jr)

brunce ellington=true so ramon galloway -true jr lakeem jackson=true jr demontre harris=true so

we had a guard 6-6'2 who is from washington dc but goes to school in jacksonville florida and his 6'5 teammate. they both committed to us but after a while said no thanks.we r looking somewhere else.

there is a good chance we will losse 2 true so and possible our only sr. when the new coach comes.

time will tell when monday and tues come. our former gamecock pg, said we will get a coach before final 4. he said earlier today we will have a coach by mon or tuesday. our women's team is playing in sweet16 in cali tomorrow.our a.d. is in cali with them. so time will tell what happens.

Why would you have a press conference on Saturday anyways, those are usually on a weekday especially if you are gonna hire a new coach
