When I checked before last night's game, it seemed about half the threads on the TU message board were about wanting to get rid of him as well.

Here's many more comments on him and TU's fans take on why our press worked so well.

This is really ashame. This is a pretty squad who, before tonight, were 19 points over 5 losses from coming into this game undefeated. If you consider they lost a OT game to Mo St by 5, they were only 1 point from winning in regulation. That's just 3 points per game, with the largest margin at the end of regulation being 4 points. The 5 losses: OSU, Northwestern, ASU, Mo St, and St Joe's. That's not a cream puff schedule.

The TU fans should be the ones on notice here. Talk about fair weather fans. 4,000+ minus the Shocker fans is horrible for a program with its tradition.

Horn picked up a decent win against Clemson but lost two of his three recruits for 2012.

I just hope Marshall listens to his mentor, and coaches where people love him. He could have a 20+ year career here if he wanted to, and he'd be the king of Wichita.

I find it really hard for Marshall to leave if we make it to the NCAA's this year, and the recruiting class coming in. He'd have to rebuild SC from the ground up. It might be quicker because he could recruit his backyard, but he also has to play Kentucky, Florida, Tennessee, and Alabama every single year. Unless that's what he wants.

Hm. I don't see people on here treating him this way. Maybe you do.

Apparently you weren't on when we were all sucking on our pacifiers at the thought of him leaving. At the end of this season you will get to see how loved he is right here on Shoxernet, all over again.

Shockernet is a pretty small sample of fans, with a disproportionate number of complainers and complaints, monster. I feel safe in saying he's held in higher regard among the general public -- and more to the point, his program is held in way higher regard among the general public than he is on here.

I think you underestimate most of us complainers. This is a fan board. Your "pumper" is getting in the way again.
