I think Kung Wu's sarcasm meter is working just fine - especially considering the JQH basketball facility was built without locker rooms and MSU did have a bake sale as a fund raiser to build some locker rooms for their brand new facility.
There was some confusion as many MSU fans baked up batches of meth instead of cookies.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades. We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

Hahaha, did they really? I was certain MVJ was joking when I hit that line, but had no context for it actually having happened at JQH?
The stuff above that line I wasn't so sure.

Their football stadium doesn't look any better than Div II's Pittsburg State University's stadium.
Maybe my sarcasm meter is broken, or you are simply blinded by local bias, but when MSU finishes their expansion and upgrades, Plaster Stadium will be one of the best, if not best, stadiums in the country. It will feature a 30 foot wide bigscreen, that is the largest, standard definition screens available today. It will also be unique, featuring an upper deck with no lower deck. There will also be a dozen luxury suites, that is a total of 12! A lot of BCS powerhouse schools will build 120 or so suites Missouri State will be very exclusive and stick to 12, how exclusive is that?!!!!
Once complete, Missouri State is going to hold a series of bake sales to hopefully fund locker rooms as well! Pittsburgh State can keep their facilities, Plaster will be special.
Good stuff. I especially loved the high quality stadium upgrade pics!!
One thing is certain, MSU will be in the SEC mix when it's all said and done. Afterall, they have sealed envelopes and the most desirable array of factors not seen by anybody else in the entire country.
Deuces Valley.
... No really, deuces.

Last season, basketball teams had to leave JQH and go to the previous basketball facility, which is adjacent to JQH, to use locker rooms.
The original plans for JQH did not include locker rooms, and the arena was built without them. The facility was designed so they could be added later.
For those who don't venture onto MVCFans or ValleyTalk, this might be a good time to mention MSU's sale of a cow herd. In one of the discussions of the financial stability (or lack thereof) of various athletic departments, a line item from one of MSU's published reports listed the sale of a cow herd.
It seems there was a cow-calf operation and MSU had to sell off the entire herd of breeding stock to pay bills at one point. MSU fans didn't understand that selling assets used to produce income, in order to pay bills, was a sign of financial instability.
The upper deck with no lower deck is true. There are some additional renderings (of the same high quality as those MVJ posted) that show a wall about 30' high right behind the team benches on the sidelines. That marvel of modern architecture shows the advanced state of MSU's plans to renovate their FB stadium.
One thing you don't see in the high-quality renderings is any luxury boxes. Could that be the reason for the apparent wall? Are they putting the luxury suites at the BOTTOM of the stands instead of the top??
I better add this since some MSU fans have been reading this thread. I understand that not all MSU fans bake meth.

I never herd (see what I did there?) that one, but it could be possible that someone left the cattle as a donation to the athletic dept. People leave all kinds of weird, yet valuable, stuff as donations. Hell, some people sign over their 401k in the event of their untimely demise.
You guys better not discount the 30 foot, standard definition bigscreen. That's bigtime!!!
:yahoo:
There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.
I wish our baseball video board was at least close to this size.
that is kind of a sore point with me. They went from old technology scoreboard that actually had functionality and communicated information to the fans (i.e. baseball stats for the season and game, time and temp) They then go to a video scoreboard that is an equivalent to 13" monitor these days that has limited functional and convey no information (if there is some, it is two small to read) - but I guess that is par for the baseball program.
Duru said it’s unclear whether a lawsuit could be prosecuted successfully until it’s known what claim the plaintiffs would make. He said a suit potentially could take several forms:
— Tortious interference with business relations.
— Breach of contract.
— Detrimental alliance -- that the other schools relied on the understanding A&M was a member of the conference as they conducted business.
