FWIW, and with no inside or special knowledge whatsoever, I would think that there would be no announcement of a new conference until all of the existing schools within that conference were finished with postseason play. It would seem to take away from their accomplishments to shine the light on a school that has not yet played a game in their conference. So while I certainly agree that any announcement could not come soon enough for my liking, I think the counsel of patience is very wise.

I've considered this. But in which sport? Are we looking at when baseball season ends in June? That makes a lot of things for a lot of people very difficult.

I've considered this. But in which sport? Are we looking at when baseball season ends in June? That makes a lot of things for a lot of people very difficult.

Just occurred to me that demand for season tickets will be through the roof if this happens. It changes everything about the interest level in our home games... and it was already pretty high to begin with. Might get a lot more expensive. I'll take the pleasure with the pain.

Wouldn't need a fake noise meter, loud meter, whatever garbage it was, with teams like UCONN, SMU, Cinci coming in the house!

Does adding Wichita State really affect them? They can basically just hard mount the NCAA trophy at UCONN and no one would complain.
