This is a victory for everyone with calluses, for every Waylon Jennings fan, for everyone who believes in the Bible. This is a victory for grandparents and veterans and taxpayers everywhere. This is a victory for law enforcement and cowboys and truck drivers and housewives all across this country. This is a win for everybody who just wants a chance, an opportunity, and nothing else. It's a slap in the face to every arrogant son-of-a-***** who looks down their nose at others. Have a nice day.

Watching regular folks get classified that way over and over again is sad.

The most current numbers I'm seeing show Hillary leading Trump by 150,000 votes nationally with 98% reporting. That's a 0.1% lead (47.6% vs 47.5%), so it could change once everything is tallied.
I still despise Trump, but please, oh please, don't let Hillary win the popular vote. I don't want to hear all those arguments again. Once (2000) was enough.

Obviously the context of polling and bias are key components within discussions of presidential elections and politics. At this point there’s virtually no-one who would dispute the inherent media bias against candidate Donald Trump. Cue the CNN audio/visual (Screen Shot) demonstration of the day: Donald Trump has used the “Heritage Foundation” as part of the think tank […]
Also heard on CBS that Trump's analytic team, Cambridge Analytica predicted 10 days ago he would win:
I always had you figured for a Hillary supporter, but now I'm sure. Too bad for your sour grapes. Suck it up and soldier on. You were wrong, just like you are wrong on this post.

Maybe we should quit commissioning polls and running them as news stories. There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

The sun will rise for everyone tomorrow. Trump will have to try to get his legislative plan through congress. Although I think he has a better shot than Clinton would have, I believe he will still face headwinds, particularly in his positions on trade (which probably won him the election). The Chamber of Communists is all for fair trade and the eradication of the American middle class and congressional republicans are squarely in their pocket.

The polls weren't really that far off for the most part. Clinton +2% to +4% nationally, and right now, she's up +0.1%.
