There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

    • I voted Gary Johnson. I dislike Trump. I dislike him alot. But his speech was very good.

Much the same. I voted for McMullen, but am happy that the Clintons are gone, gone, gone. His acceptance speech was quite good.

Most of his speeches have been very good the past few months, but I think a lot of anti-Trumpers couldnt get past his crappy debate antics to take a real look.

              • I hope he doesn't mis-read the electorate. I think that the majority of his votes rejected the Clintons and Washington. I don't think it was an endorsement of him. O'Bama overstepped with health care. He would be smart to reach across the aisle as much as possible especially on important, huge things like war, treaties, health care, etc.

                • I guess everyone's roles on shockernet will be changing. I'm now tasked with posting memes and inaccurate conspiracy theories about the Trump presidency, and you all will have to try to talk me out of my delusion. It's going to be a long four years.

                  • Some people like memes and some don't so you will receive 50% support give or take.

                    • I think a very large chunk of the population just said a collective "up yours" to the:

                      1. Liberal, elitist Obama policies,
                      2. Corruption in the government,
                      3. Biased, hypocritical mainstream media.

There was a lot of frustration among much of the electorate. I don't think the Democrats and mainstream media fully understood and recognized the level of frustration.
ShockerNet is a rat infested cess pool.

                      • A huge number(most) of the electorate who voted for Trump doesn't care about Democrats or Republicans. As for elites, they never listen to others.

Love memes. Make 'em good ones!

I am scared as hell of Trump. I did not vote for him. Conversely, I am elated that I don't have to look at Hillary's face the next eight years. Last night, I really enjoyed watching Rachael Maddow cry, I loved watching Cokie Roberts bewilderment, and Chris Matthews was priceless! The media in general was hilarious! There were several media gaffes where "news reporters" slipped and let it be known that the media was in the bag for Clinton.

                          • Stephanopolous was the most even keeled media member I watched. He did well for a liberal honk.

Here's the best one I've seen so far. As a liberal that never thought Trump would win, I totally relate:

                              • Despite all the Trump propaganda of "don't believe the polls, we're winning" leading up to last night, Trump's team truly thought they would lose based on their own data. Then they won. And now they will claim "I told you so" as if they weren't surprised like the rest of us. And it will be insufferable.

I'm now pretty much convinced that nobody knows anything, myself included.
