Hadn't your President initiated a travel ban on China at about the same time (actually prior) this 'ol bag extended the invitation?

I keep seeing Trump's travel ban as "saving countless lives". Sure, that would be the case if the cat was still in the bag and we had ramped up testing, surveillance, isolation or had heeded warnings from HIS OWN Department of Defense about the liklihood of a pandemic. BUT THE CAT IS OUT OF THE BAG. That time that Trump bought was wasted. Gone. Poof. It's not coming back.

It was a good decision by him at the time- but it's completely irrelevant now.
The mountains are calling, and I must go.

As if the whole world isn't going through the same thing. Shame on you.

Who would even rely on information provided by people who are so blinded by hatred of their own President that they would seem to think it's alright to just, basically, blurt out any 'ol -ahem- prefabricated piece of a half-truth and call it the gospel? Oh, wait...

So your friends hate the President too huh? That will really change hearts and minds... Hahahahahahahaha

Thank you for your feedback. It is greatly appreciated, even though it was not directed to you. However, I am responding to you (and making an exception) to directly responding to people who only have one functioning brain cell. I would be happy to continue this discussion with you when you have more than one functioning brain cell. Until then, I leave you with this:

"It’s a calamity because of the willful, delusional, purposeful denial of this crisis for months by Trump and sycophantic and dishonest propagandists like you. It is the greatest failure in Presidential history and exposes you as a lethal fraud. https://twitter.com/ingrahamangle/st...74235275202560 …"

I'm disapointed. Board moron was telling us that he liked Chinese food. What happened? Did Rush Limpballs cancel because of his lung cancer?

Now you're starting to get it. What took you so long?

And you'd be better off worrying about your husbands hands than mine, or anyone else's.

                    • In all of this current excitement did anyone notice that our President deep-sixed the IG who covered for that national traitor vindman? That same IG is indicated several times in the Horowitz report for FISA abuse.

Will the Snowflakes cover for this lying turncoat too? Hopefully they do.

And this guy ended up getting fired from the Hill for his sloppy (or nonexistent research)

                        https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/n...as-contributor

I would have never given Rupert Murdoch his citizenship. I would have sent his useless @$$ back to Melbourne. But its rather obvious that Fox news has a history of buying into ridiculous conspiracy theories, and sometimes they get fired......so long as they are not one of their high-rated commenters:
                        https://www.nytimes.com/2020/03/27/b...ronavirus.html

                        https://www.businessinsider.com/righ...navirus-2020-2

I'm looking forward to Fox losing this suit, but even if they don't, Rupert Murdoch is about to learn a very valuable lesson about the costs of being socially irresponsible, the money he will have to pay his lawyers to, even in the absolute best outcome for him (i.e. finding expensive enough lawyers to overcome all the bull$hit they spread on-air, which will provide a whole bunch of plantiff's evidence) might finally make him start calculating the costs and adverse publicity and determining whether he can continue to afford to operate his business in this manner.

He now has a cost that can be associated to the risk of spreading disinformation.

BTW, and just for the record, I think Trump could have blunted some of the impact if he had acted sooner, but even if we had the 'best crisis president' (which Trump is not - good leaders are honest and open, Trump just lies too much) we would have had a mess on our hands.

For instance.....Mississippi's governor "Tater" Tate did not order a shelter in place until way, way too late. Seems like the death rate amongst younger people is tied to obesity. And who has the #1 obesity rate in the country? Mississippi. Watch their death rate, I'm betting by the time this is over with, they will have a substantially higher death rate than most places. If our president had ordered the entire country to shelter in place, would it have made a difference? You can make your own mind up, but you seem to be a reasonable person (and a science-based kind of a guy).

So, has he made it worse by not doing the right things? Of course, but this still would have been a big mess no matter who was in charge. Same with Bush during Katrina. Disasters like this come attached with a certain amount of residual blame (i.e. unavoidable, no matter if you did all the right things at the right time, there would STILL be people blaming them).

And don't even start me going about putting Kushner in charge of this. I don't buy his obvious notion that his gene pool (and his family's gene pool) trumps scientific, medical and logical expertise. There are more qualified people under his nose, but he thinks 'incest is best'.
