Has anybody on here even attempted to have a political conversation with a 2018 Libtard? It's quite comical. I don't recommend it. They're basically limited to the latest CNN click-bait headline. That's the extent of the topical depth of the average #notmypresident'er.
I'll start off in my usual deprecating manner by saying, "Look, I don't condone a lot of what the president says on Twitter..." I barely get that far before they start showing signs of melting. I follow up with, "For the sake of health and peace of mind, don't you think it's best to judge the current president on the results he is achieving and less on how he's achieving them? (This is where they blurt out 'BUT WHAT HAS HE DONE?!'). He is a brash, NYC real estate developer (those guys are borderline mafioso in their tactics); his ways are generally not our ways. Recognize that most of what you hear in the media and perhaps even from the White House is agenda driven, usually out of context, and/or just doesn't carry well across normal communication lines."
"But he's working with the Russians!!!"
"He's got his finger on the button and HE'S GONNA USE IT!!!"
"He was declared mentally unfit for office!!!"
"He's a RACIST!!!"
"He grabs them by the *****!!!"
*sigh*
To gain perspective on the issue, I merely have to harken back to my grandmother and her utter disdain for Slick Willy based only on the party he represented and the exotic places he liked to dip his cigars... Historically, Willy wasn't a bad president at all. I suppose the great political divide in America is only going to get worse until all the old conservatives die off. Then we'll fully socialize this country bypassing the tipping point (which I believe immediately followed the Obama presidency) ushering in the Great American Decline. Trump, for all his faults, is sacrificing the one thing he holds dear (his reputation/ego) by attempting to stave off via shock politics what is the likely eventuality for America; secularism, socialism, atheism, amoralism.
