  • The future of the US economy (and the world) will not look the same as it has in the past. Tried and true economic concepts/principles will evolve. Some of the latest generations have shown a drastic change in tastes and preferences. Technology has a lot to do with it.

In the future there will be genetic manipulation. The kid who's asking for a litter box now, might actually look half-cat in the future.

There will be very little unskilled labor. Automation will rule the day. I've never been a fan of the "living wage" concept for all the reasons that have been traditionally true. But perhaps "hard work" is going to be defined differently in the future. Perhaps technology will afford future generations the opportunity to pursue their dreams irrespective of pay (see: Star Trek).

If you think about it, technology HAS been making life easier for over a hundred years. Who's to say it doesn't eventually solve the ol' "sweat of the brow" tradition.

Creativity will certainly rule the day. Mind-numbing coding, or back-breaking riveting will be a thing of the past.

Don't be scared of the future. Embrace it. Since you really have no choice, perhaps try and make the best of it.

Unplug from your puppeteers. Read a non-political book. Do something nice for a stranger. Love your family.

The Democrats are right on a lot of things. The Republicans are becoming less and less right the more Donald opens his mouf.

Moderation. Common sense. Cooperation. Rule of law. Good will towards man. These tenants are the ones to live by and enter the new age with.

What are you, an idiot day trader?

That nice little dip is in anticipation of Kamala knocking her speech out of the park tonight.

(Mea culpa: I deleted several things you were correct about to concentrate on this wildly chaotic statement)

Donald Trump, if anything, is a centrist. He is nowhere close to far right. He very well might be left of Clinton. But the Dems, at least the Dem's leadership and rapidly growing % of Dems are so far left it's scary. You've fallen off the deep end.

I wish someone else was the GOP option. But if my choice is Trump or Socialism, it's a no brainer. And to argue otherwise is frankly unhinged.

The orange juice ain't worth the squeeze anymore with Donald.

Nobody (with perspective) likes the results of traditional "Socialism", but the world has been, and is absolutely going more socialist. The middle-class will not be denied. They never have been. If you want to raise funds, talk to the industrialists, if you want to win elections, talk to the middle-class. Trump has tried to do that, but he's so ****ed up mentally, he can't keep his message distilled.

I think I'm going to protest vote the gay Libertarian Covidiot Isolationist... or Sponge Bob. And don't think I haven't written in Sponge Bob before...

The journey (pain) is over my friend. The game is definitely rigged. And I cracked it!

Do you mutter the word “trump” 147 times an hour too like your fellow Democrats?

Unplug once in a while. Think for yourself every now and then.

I would assume that is correct. All presidents have an incredible assortment of advisors that do much of the hard work for them. It is the president's job to choose. He/she is the chooser.

I honestly don't care who is the smartest person in the oval office as long as the smartest decision is the one that is ultimately chosen.

GWB wasn't the brightest bulb in the bunch, but daddy told him how to behave in the White House.

Trump DEFINITELY wasn't a brainiac. He just had a big mouth and big balls. He also didn't listen to his advisors very much which is quite scary and confirmed by REPUBLICAN cabinet members.

                            Sooo.......

Smart (wise), competent staff and leadership. That's all we can ask/hope for. After that, it comes down to ideology.

                              • I think cold should run for president. He knows how to run a campaign, he is the Einstein and Superman of today, all rolled in to one.
If you don't believe me, just ask him.
