Here is an interesting story about President Biden. He nominated a self admitted communist from China to a climate position. She went to the same university in China as Chinese dictator Xi Jinping. Is this just Joe Biden that is moving towards Communist nominees or is it a Democrat tendency.

The OCC, which stands as an independent branch of the U.S. Treasury Department, “charters, regulates, and supervises all national banks and federal savings associations as well as federal branches and agencies of foreign banks.”
“I am excited to welcome Dr. Chen to the OCC,” said Acting Comptroller Michael J. Hsu in a statement. “We are fortunate to have someone with her background and experience in both finance and climate-related financial risk to lead the agency’s risk management work in this area.”
Prior to joining the administration, Chen worked in climate policy for the New York State Department of Financial Services as well as the International Association of Insurance Supervisors.
Most notable in Chen’s resume, however, is that she previously graduated from Tsinghua University, a Beijing-based academic institution that is known to conduct military research for the Chinese government and People’s Liberation Army (PLA). The university is also the alma mater of Chinese dictator Xi Jinping.
According to the Australian Strategic Policy Institute (ASPI), Tsinghua University “is designated very high risk for its high level of defence research and alleged involvement in cyber attacks.”
However, Chen is not the first controversial person under Biden’s administration to be mentioned for an OCC post. Last year, President Joe Biden nominated Saule Omarova to oversee the OCC, which would have given her the “most powerful, least accountable” position over cryptocurrencies and the banking industry if confirmed.Last edited by Shockm; September 21, 2022, 10:23 AM.Comment

It is funny, but when Biden speaks off the cuff, I think he is saying how he really feels. I think correctly so, he is saying the Pandemic is over, because that is what he believes. Biden only had only the one soft interview with few tough follow up questions from Pelly in the last 6 months. Trump had much tougher interviews with tough follow up questions almost monthly and always when he left by helicopter.Originally posted by shox1989 View Post

I’m not a big Trump guy (I have hopes for others in 24), but his policies were much better for the United States than Biden’s. Biden is sold out to Europe first, his Green New Deal policies have Europe all over them, his Iran Nuclear Deal and Middle East policies have Europe first overtones, Biden’s “woke” cabinet members are totally leftists, his Border policies are dangerous losers, his economic soft on China policies, and his Socialist policies are all losers for America. I just saw a California parent (I think M.S.) who had an organizing group of parents because their school district had policies that didn’t allow the parent to be told if their child was asking to be called by the opposite gender pronoun.
Evidently the community had some gay friends who called themselves “gays against grooming”. The father had a T shirt with the message “Groom dogs, not kids”.Comment
