Liberal American groups feel better when America doesn’t drill inside our borders so President Biden eased oil drilling sanctions on Venezuela instead. The Administration claims it’s not to ease pressure on oil prices, but instead to help Democracy thrive in Venezuela. The ironic thing is that America is more democratic than Venezuela so Democracy as the reason doesn’t meet the logic test, but it probably does protect Meduro, the tyrant Venezuelan leader. Of course, American workers could use the high paying jobs but our liberal groups aren’t concerned with American workers as much as their global warming proclivities. Additionally, the Venezuela policy change was done on a Thanksgiving Saturday so President Biden could avoid scrutiny and criticism.Comment
