Paraphrased response by the feds to inflation.
The fed needs to respond to the current inflation by raising interest rates, much like what was done in the 1970’s. However, if the Fed reacts to inflation by saying its transitory with no reaction, the result could be stagflation (persistent inflation with high unemployment and low demand).

But while we were doing all this our economy was contracting (even if temporary). A little inflation was guaranteed to come. And it might not be a bad thing when it's all said and done - to the chagrin of Big Gulp drinkers everywhere...

That's true, there is an inflation target and it's been that way for a long time. It's healthy to have a little. Growth was stifled by the pandemic and what we are seeing now is unusually high inflation rates. We will find equilibrium in time.

P.S. Biden isn't against economic growth. No Dim is regardless of what you read in the media. Dims just like to focus more on social programs which continues to keep their base trapped. But Dims aren't bad, they're just different. Socialists are bad.
