Here is my sole foray into the political discussion. I have found many Trump supporters that will acknowledge there are good people that voted for Biden. However I found little to none of the reciprocity coming from the Biden supporters. The entire “if you voted for him, then you are him” mentality is so deranged, so shallow, so illogical that it is truly dangerous. This is isn’t cancel culture of a celebrity or sports figure, this is half of the country they are talking about. I am hoping it is a one off behavior but I’ve not seen anything like it ever and hope I never do again.

We’ve known her for years and she seemed to be willing to throw everything away. It was a subject that couldn’t be discussed. I personally don’t care enough if she wants to remain a friend. shoxlax I acknowledged in an earlier post that I simply don’t believe that all trump voters are racist idiots. There are some who are too far gone to worry about, just like on the other side. There is a way forward that doesn’t involve all this childish, meme based, name calling, my team vs your team bullshit. I think in general most people all want many of the same things out of life.

My oldest grandson drove up Maize a couple days ago in his truck with a Trump flag. Somebody sped up to pass him so they could flip him off. Tolerant

AZ and NV, I have no idea what those states are doing.

Easy answer cause I witness it every day and for many years. Californian's moving into both of these states. AZ has been trending blue in recent years and this was no surprise this time around.

The irony is that they leave California to get away from the high cost of living, crime and get this...the "politics". All to fall back to their California ways and vote blue when they get here. Kind of an oxy-moron really.

I’m afraid that the “Swamp” and corruption is here to stay. Too many people go to Washington DC and gain wealth. Obama, Bush, Gore, Clinton and now Biden Harris all turn away from corruption as long as they can stay in power. Hell, even Bernie is a millionaire with vacation homes and he’d criticize others for having money. Biden has been in the middle of it for a long time (and now Hunter is with Joe in China, etc. ). The sad thing is that anyone who knows history realizes that “corruption” is the main reason for the downfall of most world powers and the standard of living disintegrating. Socialism will probably come if not for any other reason except that people get angry with the ruling class.
