Let me give ya'll the same advice I gave my mother this morning when she called distressed:
Go about your lives and ignore the hype. Don't turn to Rush Limbaugh, Hannity, Levin, etc. for news. Their job is to feed you bullshit so you continue to listen to their entire show and make their advertiser's happy. Don't trade your mental health for their dollars.
We will likely hold the Senate. If Biden doesn't do what he says he's going to do - and that's be a president to both parties - then there will be a red wave in 2 years that will give us back the House. We will have a united Republican party with plenty of dough to accomplish that. He's got essentially 2 years to show us who he is.
Biden has dementia, but Trump is crazy. Dementia might not be too bad at this point. Biden will be with us for 4 years. If his tenure is the equivalent of a never-ending fire-side chat, that won't be so bad. The country (mostly Libtards) needs healing. It needs some peace and quiet.
Trump got a lot of Conservative measures passed and judges appointed. He did his job. He made a lot of us suffer in the process and stepped on his own dick with respect to getting reelected but... he "governed" Conservatively.
So hope for the best, work on yourselves and your family, and stay SAFE. Don't forget that we are in the middle of a dangerous pandemic and the new administration won't be able to have an impact for months. Let's all just make it until 2022.
