Parliamentary systems have negative aspects too. Although at this time, our 2 Party system is really struggling.

Primarily because those two parties are getting farther and farther apart. That gap in the middle just keeps widening. It's frustrating.

I don't care how many from each party it takes in, we need a stronger center that makes up about 45-50% of the center. If it leaves 20-22% of the Republicans on the far right and 30-33% of the Socialists/Democrats on the far left, people within those 2 groups will have choices to make if they are to have any say.

Right now, that 45-50% is currently there, but only about 45-55% of them are among the "winning side" and they end up having to put up with being either too far right or too far left. My way or the highway approach. They all could be on the winning side, do some give and take so all of the middle gets things they want while the far ends are left dangling. I know. Pretty simplistic, but I can hope.

Can't quite understand "let the prisoners free so they don't get Covid theory", but I certainly understand shutting down indoor activities like church, salons, bars, restaurants, and gyms.

I would think that if you got locked up during a pandemic, that's just an added cost for exhibiting stupid behavior on the streets. Why reward the criminal and punish society twice by releasing him? He's a criminal risk and he certainly won't be social distancing...
