[QUOTE
My, my how the winds are changing in Trumpville. Just last week he was saying that Covid is harmless for 99% of the public. I'm wondering what some of the Covid/Mask deniers on Shockernet have to say about this?
[/QUOTE]
I don't know who the mask deniers are that you get a constant hard-on for here on Shockernet, or nationally, but you're still an intellectual moron, the same as last week, who won't discuss those most at risk, and how that is who needs the most attention. In other words, the exact opposite of what that criminally stupid Governor in New York did. Hard to believe someone that inept is in a position of power, but, never underestimate the toxic stupidity of the modern day Libtard, or their supporters. No?
And, also, what rational minded person, regardless of what news station they choose to watch, would claim that the inaccurate models about this virus on day 1, and the shifting advice of the experts all the way through the month of May, into June, was the President's fault? Feel free to answer anyone. Yep, because calling it the Trump virus is really gonna' swing votes to the left in November. But, if they say it enough times there's surely some weak-kneed fence sittin' conservatives who might go along. I'm bettin' different however, with a few -ahem- exceptions; the ones who put their $$ on the polls...
I have a question: How worked up were they getting over there on msnbc and cnn since their President got to hold a rally Today that was covered nationally? And hey, everyone wore a mask (except the Prez). I'll bet it was a hoot.

Perhaps it could be that most rational people would validate a model, but our president would use his 'gut feel'? Yeah, that has worked out real well so far.....

You do know your President has followed every bit of advice his top expert, fauci, has suggested right? Remember fauci saying so? What next, the high unemployment is your President's fault? You'd probably vote for President a person who grabs 'em by the pu**y. Why even bother...
But you didn't tell us: were they hysterical last night on cnn and msnbc? Was it a hoot? Did pelosi's teeth start rattlin' again?Last edited by ShockingButTrue; July 22, 2020, 08:28 AM.

Can one of the fair and balanced Shockernetters tell us if cnn.com or msnbc reported on this yet? I tried to post a link from their domains, to keep it balanced, but lo and behold...
For free even, but not there yet...

The CDC recommended face masks back in April and the president said the following: "Yeah... well... ummm... it's optional and... I'm not gonna wear 'em" The reason he himself gave for not wearing one was for vanity purposes. I'm not making this up.
The CDC also recommended that people limit their gatherings to help stop the spread. Pretty common sense. Trump decided to try and fill a 19,000 seat arena last month while infections were spiking all over the country. That's not made up either.
On the mask issue I cringed, but stayed loyal. On the Tulsa rally, I lost the faith. Now when I look back over Trump's actions through a different lens, I see craziness everywhere.
My current political status is that of someone taking a long walk in the desert waiting to hear from "God".
Still not consuming any CNN or MSNBC so that should be of some relief to you.

Dr. Anthony Fauci warns the coronavirus won’t ever be eradicatedWhile the virus will not disappear, it’s possible world leaders and public health officials could work to bring the virus down to “low levels,” the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases said during an interview with the TB Alliance.
“I think with a combination of good public health measures, a degree of global herd immunity and a good vaccine, which I do hope and feel cautiously optimistic that we will get, I think when we put all three of those together, we will get control of this, whether it’s this year or next year. I’m not certain,” he said.
But, he added, “I don’t really see us eradicating it.”
Fauci’s comments are at odds with President Donald Trump, who reiterated his claim Tuesday evening that the virus would disappear. The president’s remark comes amid warnings from experts, including at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, that Covid-19 cases and deaths could rise this fall.
“The virus will disappear. It will disappear,” Trump said during a White House briefing on the pandemic.Fauci said the virus is unlike SARS, a coronavirus that emerged in the early 2000s and was contained. He said Covid-19 is incredibly efficient in transmitting from human to human and can produce a wide range of symptoms in people. He said it’s unlikely the virus will change into something like the common cold.
“I have never seen infection in which you have such a broad range literally no symptoms at all in a substantial proportion of the population to some who get ill with minor symptoms to some who get ill enough to be in bed for weeks,” he said. “Others get hospitalized, require oxygen, intensive care, ventilation and death. The involvement with the same pathogen is very unique.”Fauci said officials have to do better in containing the virus as states attempt to reopen. On Tuesday, he said state officials should adopt mask mandates and close bars. He said Wednesday that U.S. health officials do not see “an end in sight” to the pandemic.
“We are certainly not at the end of the game” of the pandemic, Fauci said. “Certainly we are not winning the game right now. We are not beating it.”
I vote: Fauci knows what the **** he's talking about because he's been doing this "medicine thing" for 54 years longer than Trump.
