The gray area will be if the the prosecutor is particularly competent and aggressive and manages to land a liberal jury. The prosecutor's job will be to convince the jury that the shooter had malicious intentions when he decided to go down to the riots armed.

He will also be screwed if at any time he pursued somebody with a gun unless they had a hostage. You cannot prove "fear of mortal danger" if you're chasing somebody.

The link was just for people to learn some of the basics. My comments were my own. It should be rock solid unless we're not talking about a castle state. In that situation he may have had a duty to retreat which means he cannot shoot at all unless he's trapped. And he has to prove that in court. This is why the CCW instructors joke about shooting to "kill". That way you have one less witness - and less chance of a civil suit after. Hardcore.

They would also say that if you take your gun out of the holster, use it. Brandishing (showing the gun as a threat) can get you thrown in jail. So basically you need to be in fear of your life, then you take your gun out and drill the bastard until he isn't moving any longer... kinda like what police officers do, and you'll be golden. If you are threatened and you pull your gun out but decide not to shoot and he runs away, you are breaking the letter of the law and could be in serious trouble if there's a witness who saw you do it.

I don’t think any laws in Wisconsin say anything about “charging you” as not being a right to self defense. It’s “reasonable intent to cause severe bodily harm.

Remember, 2 of the 3 charging were ARMED WITH A GUN. The other had a skateboard. Not a gun, but can bash in your head.

Regardless of if this boy is guilty of any felonies or not, he was fairly handy with the AR-15, and demonstrates what an excellent self-defense rifle it can be. He also fired 11 rounds. If he had a ten round mag, it would be three dead.

Heard this kid was assigned a Public Defender. Hope a high profile lawyer steps up to defend him.

Here is the victim of the first shooting less than 15 minutes before he died. Note that his eventual killer is not in the area...also, he is a felony sex offender.

I have to hand it to the Wichita Police Chief. BLM in Wichita started up a group (25 or so) after watching the success of lawlessness in Seattle, and Portland. They marched down public streets (Delano for one), without a permit a couple of times. They caused some other mischief when a car and later a motorcycle tried to pass through because no one knew about the demonstration or that it blocked the street. A bully threw the motorcycle rider off of her cycle onto the street as she drive by and other things were caught on video. The Chief as soon as he could charged 5 or so of the group. Maybe they are still around but no reports from the media for several weeks.

At first glance, they seemed like a group of bullies trying to throw their weight around to get attention.

Nah, CNN headline would be - White supremacists refuse to denounce killer cops despite pleas from protestors.
