At some point, it is going to register with feminists that allowing men to dominate their domain by pretending to be women is the ultimate abuse of the patriarchy. Especially when women see that the opposite does not happen when women pretend to be men.

I am still hopeful that it all comes to a head when a rogue nation fields a women's world cup soccer team of men, claiming they are trans and obliterates the field. Then watch as all hell breaks loose and the facade and virtue-signalling comes crashing back in the woke's faces.

There is a group that already protests this, and the left calls them TERFs, trans exclusionary radical feminists. This is why leftist JK Rawling is hated by progressives.

Who is causing a backlash on this forum because of the “two gender claim”?

Not sure if it's a backlash, but there is at least a lack of understanding by much of the public at large, of what the Activist Agenda of the LBGTQ+ is doing. They want to make anyone who disagrees with them appear to be a "hater". I view Gay Lesbian as a separate issue from transgender issues. However, the Gay and Lesbian/feminist groups for their own sake (even though historically they have little agreement with the Transgender agenda) have joined forces with to form a Rainbow Coalition to totally transform the culture. I have no problem with individual freedom, but disagree with "kids blockers"/counseling with a lack of parental input, restrooms, public nudity, and locker rooms being brought into the issue. The Coalition don't care about these issues, as long as their activism wins.

In Hannah Barnes book “Time to Think, it was reported that they ignored evidence that 97.5% of children seeking sex changes, had autism, depression, and other problems that might have explained their unhappiness ............. a UK Gender Identity Clinic fast tracked children as young as 10 into transitioning to sex changes.

Clinicians said that people who questioned their trans work were “transphobic”.

Progressives and others who think that transgenderism is a "truth" don't want to hear that this issue isn't settled, and there are medical professionals who believe that it is a mental illness.

Dr. Paul R. McHugh, the former psychiatrist-in-chief for Johns Hopkins Hospital and its current Distinguished Service Professor of Psychiatry, said that transgenderism is a “mental disorder” that merits treatment, that sex change is “biologically impossible,” and that people who promote sexual reassignment surgery are collaborating with and promoting a mental disorder.

He also reported on a new study showing that the suicide rate among transgendered people who had reassignment surgery is 20 times higher than the suicide rate among non-transgender people. Dr. McHugh further noted studies from Vanderbilt University and London’s Portman Clinic of children who had expressed transgender feelings but for whom, over time, 70%-80% “spontaneously lost those feelings.”

Transgenderism is still listed as a medical illness. This is important to the agenda as it allows for insurance to cover part of the expenses associated with surgeries.
