The FBI is salivating over the opportunity to join in on the narrative. I'd say about 75% of the FBI hate Trump.

Regardless of the FBI's investigative outcome, exactly the same number of Democratic no votes today will be waiting to be cast a week from now. Accepting the demands of the Democrats is a suckers play as they are the ONLY ones to benefit from it. They give up nothing, they promise nothing, and they will do nothing upon receiving the findings except to obstruct the process more if they receive even a scintilla of additional ammo.

If the Republicans have the votes, they MUST put it to the floor... and I think they will.

None of this is new to me. BTW, I believe the article aobut her poor ratings from students is about a different Christine Ford, a social work professor at Cal State Fullerton.

Christine Bazey Ford is a psych professor at Stanford. You can find her on the ratemyprofessor.com website but she currently has no reviews. I believe this story has been sufficiently discredited.

There were 6 listings under Christine Ford from this ratemyprofessor.com site but only 1 for Christine Blasey Ford (at Stanford). There was a Christine Ford also at Palo Alto Universtity which might also be Christien Blasey Ford but again no student ratings on her.

When asked if they could get the investigation done in a week, a senior FBI official said, "That depends on the schedules of everyone we'd have to interview, including the accuser, accused and witnesses.”

It's all a game... or I guess more accurately, it will be.

And it won't leave Kavanaugh smelling like roses; it will change nothing. The FBI will submit the same information that we have already heard from Kavanaugh and Ford first-hand, and we will get something like we already have on record from Judge, but with more words used to say the same thing. That's it! It will change no one's mind, and all the left will do from there is select a new tangent of outrage to pursue.

Not sure the Republicans really had much choice since this was cooked up by Flake, Collins, Murkowski, Manchin and Heitkamp. They probably don't have the votes if they don't go along. Plus you know the Democrats would demogogue this to death in the upcoming mid-terms if the Rebpublicans refused.

While they claim the FBI investigation will be limited to current creidlbe allegaions (one could argue that there are no current credible allegations) that doesn't prewvent new allegations to surface over the next week. There is no doubt the left stream press and democrat party are working overtime to come up with those if they don't already have them in there back pocket. Then they will demand that the vote has to be delayed again unitl those can be investigated throroughly.

Also, I think any investigation of the "current credible agllegations" should include a thorough background checkd on Christine Blasey Ford.

I'm not quite sure why so many people are saying Balsey Ford was credible and compelling. Personally, I found her to be a very sympathetic figure but not particularly credible or compelling.
