Kudos to the Royals. They're doing better under Yost than I thought they could to this point going 26-23.

While I've given a little grief to KC fans here, I must admit they are playing better than my Cardinals have through basically the same period. After starting the season at 18-8, St Louis has gone 27-30. They've had a few minor injuries, but given their pitching staff and a line up with Pujols and Holliday, they have done much less with much more.

Gotta feel kinda bad for the guy, he obviously had no clue when he grabbed the ball. It was funny watching all of the other fans react. His buddy tried to grab him. The guy drops the ball on the field then DeJesus tosses it back and say's "you keep it". They don't show it in the video, but as he walked out, fans were getting in his face yelling at him.

Well, he did gt assisted out of the ballpark!

The Guillen injury is frustrating. Not only did he pretty much just become untradable, he practically stopped two steps from first base and got doubled up. It would not have been difficult to keep limping to first. He'd have easily been safe. Instead, he completely quit.

KC just won't quit. Four runs in the 8th to take a 6-3 lead on homers by Callaspo and Maier. Could be their first sweep of the season if they hold on.

Huge series in Chicago before the all star break. We need a series win.

Eventhough Tuesday's fiasco was bigger, Wednesday's eighth and ninth inning botch job by the Cards was worse. Now that St Louis is finally hitting as a team, their top ranked pitching staff has hit a wall.

The Royals are on a good roll. :good:

and only 8 games back, additional with a bright future with one of the better farm systems in Baseball.
