I don't hate the Royals. I just like tweaking their fans and their slightly overoptimistic view on them each year in April... and then watching their hopes get dropped by the first week of May.

Wil Myers was also recently promoted to High A.

I think Hosmer will be promoted to NWA as soon as the Royals can move Guillen. Certainly there's someone out there that'll take him. Especially if the Royals are willing to eat most or all of his contract.

For the most part KC has been playing fairly decent ball lately. It's nice to see some positive signs from the parent club and not just have to look to the farm. The farm is still more exciting right now though.

I'm curious to see how long Hardy is gonna be in Omaha before getting his spot in the pen with KC. If he continues to pitch like he has all season it's only a matter of time. He could really help in the pen. Tejada has been alright, Wood has looked good and even Farnsworth has been pitching well.

I know they're in no hurry to bring Alex back up but he's putting up crazy numbers for the O-Royals. But if they're able to move Pods I'm not sure who else they'd bring up. Robinson isn't ready for that jump just yet and nobody else in Omaha has shown enough to take his spot.

Yeah, i say its a most likely scenario that Jose is going to the DL . Even last night Ryan and Frank were talking about, while Jose is on the DL they could bat Betemit in the DH spot for him, who by the way drive in all 3 of our runs.

by the way sub, since you said you missed the game, you missed an exciting one. We were up 3-2 in 8th and ichiro on 1st and seattle hit a ball down the line and the fan grabs the ball, so its fan interference, so they made Ichiro stay 3rd instead of going home, and then the next batter got out, so we end up getting out of it.
