i saw that we traded Angel Berroa to the dodgers, anybody know what we got in return?

The Royals received shortstop Juan Rivera, 21, in return. He is a switch hitter in his sixth minor-league season who has never risen above low Class A ball. He was batting .241 in 10 games at Class A Great Lakes and will join Class A Burlington.

“He’s a shortstop with strong defensive capabilities,” Moore said. “Offensively, he’s still developing. He was well-regarded coming out of the Dominican Republic. He hasn’t had a chance to play a lot, but he’s still just 21.”

Berroa is starting at short for the Dodgers, albeit temporarily, but we couldn't find a spot for him with Pena hitting .150. God I love the Royals. At least they finally started playing Aviles.

and im happy in Aviles thus far. his glove has been good and offensively hes been better than Pena so far. But time will tell.

The bullpen is killing us now. 3 blown saves and 6 blown leads in the last 4 games. We had a 5-1 lead going into the 7th and now the bases are loaded with no outs and a three run lead....

I heard Lefebvre's comments last night and thought he was spot-on. Bradley proved it with his own actions.

He pulls all these stunts, acts like a complete jerk then cries about trying to make a better life for his son. :cry:

He clearly is a competitor and wants to win, but beyond that his antics make me want to .

I enjoyed hearing about Hamilton. And they were right, you can't not pull for a guy that's gone through what he has and turned out all right. Bradley on the other hand is a guy that's easy to hate because of how he carries himself. He's got plenty of talent but he's not quite all there between the ears. I wondered what Joel and Frank were talking about and this incident must have been it.

The Royals will be facing a guy making his MLB debut today. I'm sure that means we'll be made to look real bad and lose this one as well.

Bradley has made over $17 million playing baseball. I think his son is going to be well off in life, unless Bradley messes it up for him. What a complete idiot. Obviously, he has a severe mental problem if he's crying and screaming about a Royals analyst's mostly correct comments.
