A couple interesting things on Friday related to the San Francisco Giants. Their skipper, Gabe Kapler, wrote a blog post on his web site that he was "not okay with the state of the country". Kapler, who's nickname is 'Kap', told reporters before the game at Cincinnati, that's he's not going to take the field for the national anthem until he feels "better about the direction of our country". Also, before the game while the teams were taking batting practice, a player from the Reds, Tommy Pham, slapped a player from the Giants, Joc Pederson.
