Thanks Keith! Glad you got through okay. It was just a matter of time I guess for me & so far I'm feeling pretty good. I got the Moderna series at first and then a Johnson & Johnson as a booster just to mix it up a bit. Hoping this will give me super immunity until the Fall.

UNTIL FALL????? THATS 35 DAYS FRPM NOW !!

                  Fake news.

Novavac didn’t register for emergency use authorization early and therefore didn’t get EUA status. It was approved in routine time.

The way one pharma company keeps others out is by writing GMPs or compendia that other companies can’t meet. Not what happened here.

The slow approval is a problem with gov, not with business.

Three Big Pharma companies with huge lobbies are able to meet the requirements and deadlines to get EUA, and another one wasn’t. Based on where we were with Coronavirus at the time, you would have thought the FDA would have wanted as many vaccines available as possible.

But a “manufacturing” requirement was not able to be met in time to apply for the FDA EUA, but Novavax had no issues meeting the requirements of the EU, WHO, and many other countries around the world.

                    How would you explain that?

The CDC have had a good number of doctors who have quit because of their emergency allowances (for example babies who are allowed the vaccine) of the vaccine, etc. when the committee who was formed to make these decisions voted down emergency allowance of the vaccine. Government dumbness, Politics, Corruption are possibilities just to name a few reasons that the powers that be make their decisions.

That’s a government problem. Specifically, no one PAID the gov to not allow it. The government inefficiencies took care of that free of charge.

That would be technically correct. Government is an entity. That doesn't necessarily mean those in control of running the government don't have creative ways to grease the wheels.

He said government inefficiencies, which sometimes is a problem. Are you saying “greasing the wheels” is government “Corruption” which also sometimes is a problem?

I think you are, and if so, I agree with both of you. I think there has been a lot of government corruption involved with the Covid era.

Okay, let me ask this. Does it make more sense that three global companies colluded to keep out a fourth company by bribing, lobbying, or otherwise making campaign promises to multiple government officials, or does it make more sense that because the gov had what they wanted, they gave no special consolations to the Johnny Come Lately’s?

Perhaps a better question: Why does the gov get to choose what products can be sold in this country at all?
