About nine minutes in for me, but very exciting even when you know the result. The commentary was excellent, explaining the strengths of the two runners and the strategies they would try to use.

It was excellent commentary. Had to watch it again. That last 400 (last 2 laps) was quite the battle between Topham and Moore with the final 200 being side by side racing until the last 50 meters when Rebekkah finally pulled away a bit.

I also enjoyed the 60m hurdle race with Nikki and Taylor Larch-Miller running side by side. Taylor set the All-Time MVC record in the prelims running an 8.21. In the finals Nikkie got off to just a little better start and won in a time of 8.22 with Taylor 2nd in 8.30. I think Taylor may have hurt her leg a little bit she seemed like she was hurting a bit at the end of the race.

Nikki Larch-Miller and Breanne Broman are competing in the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships today in the Pentathlon.

WICHITA, Kan.  --  Wichita State's track and field trio of Breanne Borman, Nikki Larch-Miller and Hunter Veith will compete Friday at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championship beginning at noon on the campus of Texas A&M inside Gilliam Indoor Stadium.

Nikki finished in 11th place with 4,088 points just 1 point behind the 10th place finisher and a little short of her PR of 4,121 points.

Breanne struggled a bit today and finished in 16th place (out of 16 competitors) with a score of 3,705. Well below her Shocker school record of 4,133 points.

Nikki actually performed to her #11 seeding and Breanne performed in line with #16 seeding but I'm sure she had hoped for a better performance.

In any case, always great to have the Shocks represented at a NCAA National Championship.

BTW, both Nikki and Breanne earn 2nd team All-America honors.
