Drake won't continue to shoot this well. Double-digit victory is in the Shox future.

Brain dead finsih to the half by the Shocks. They give up 2 wide, wide open treys and then don't hold the ball for the final shot of the half and give up a last second prayer for 3 more as Drake pull to within 36-34 at the half.
I guess you have to feel great about leading in a half where you played about 5 mimutes of good basketball but the last thing you want to do with a team like Drake is let them think they have a chance and the Shocks have definitely accomplished that.
Drake is 8-14 on three-pointers.
Hopefully, the Shocks will make some kind of adjustments in the game plan at the half.
Drake seems to be a much more focused basketball team at this point. Hopefully, that game they played last night will start having some effect on their legs and shooting, but so far their are no signs of that.
Now if the Shocks play hard the entire half like they did for their good 5 minutes in the 1st half they should be OK, unless they just can't shoot it which happens at times.

Shocks 73-58. I just need to STFU.
Shocks shut down the 3-point line in the 2nd half although they did have 2 unnecessary fouls on 3-point attempts. Good half-time adjustment to take care of that issue.
Michelle I thought was the player of the game. Almost a double-double at 10 points and 9 rebounds plus 4 steals, but the big thing was the leadership she brought to the floor in the form of her energy and effort.
Alex with her typical stat stuffing line with 15 points, 8 rebounds. 3 assists, and 3 steals.
Chynna with one of her better games this year with a strong 2nd half as she contributed 15 points and 6 rebounds.
Michaela still shows that she is a freshman from time to time but she is fearless and another solid game with 15 points and 4 rebounds.
Jessica coming back after missing 2 games with a concussion was just a steady presence and chipped in 9 points as the Shocks just missed getting 5 players into double figures.
Drake may have worn down a little late. Shocks hold Drake to 24 points in the 2nd half.
Shocks beat a team for the 3rd time in a season for only the 2nd time ever. The get another chance to do it again when they play the winner of the UNI-INS game tomorrow.
