Among the Iowa Division II Juco's this pitcher has good numbers, although again I can't say how much difference there is in quality of competition between Division I and Division II (Hovpen might have some input on that):
Catherine Flaucher - Kirkwood CC - Division II
0.65 WHIP, 232K/19BB in 145.2 innings, an opponents BA somewhere around 0.150 and an ERA of 0.721

Consequently, the competition will be some stronger, but I don't think the difference is as dramatic as it would be between NCAA Divisions I and II. I have the understanding that Butler CC, who plays Division I, does not offer full-rides, but plays at that level for recruiting purposes, selling the idea to recruits of better exposure for future NCAA D-I scholarships.

Tanna Hinthorne is a sophomore with very good numbers. I'm assuming this is who HCKB would be after. Hinthorne was an NJCAA Division I All-American as a freshman.
The other two are freshman. Both with good numbers. One of the freshman, Kelsie Stoszkus, is listed at 6'6". Not that her height necessarily means anything but you don't see those every day. Her numbers are the least impressive but kind of makes you wonder what her upside is.
Some video of Hinthorne:
Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.
Here are a couple of articles that mentions Hinthorne is heading to Wichita State:
Looks like an excellent get.
Thanks for the heads up @Hovpen.Last edited by 1972Shocker; May 7, 2012, 11:55 PM.

Congrats to Rachel and Sydney for their selection to the All-MVC 2nd team.
Sophomore Rachel Milnark and freshman Sydney Stuever were named to the 2012 MVC Softball All-Conference Second Team Wednesday.
Does anyone know if Sydney will have surgery on her shoulder or what she needs to do to rehab the bad shoulder?

HCKB officially announces her recruiting class:
Head Coach Kristi Bredbenner has announced her 2012 recruiting class. The four-player class is made up of one junior college transfer and three incoming freshman.
Doesn't sound like she plans on other additions. But I guess you can never say never. Final signing date is August 1st.Last edited by 1972Shocker; May 10, 2012, 04:51 PM.
