She's now on the roster of South Carolina's Sand Volleyball team. RJ Abella is asst coach as well.

      It was her wrist/forearm.

An amazing young woman, Jordan is very much missed in the 316. She is looking forward to starting their Beach Volleyball program.

Does it seem like Lambo has been expanding his geographic reach in his recruiting over the past couple of years or is that just my imagination.

Hawaii to Canada to Virginia. I'd say that's about as far-reaching as it gets without going to another continent.

That's not out of the realm of possibility.

Allie Davis, an early commit from the class of 2016 out of Nebraska.

Class A (largest class, Lincoln SW is the 12th largest school in the state) 3rd team All State as a SO last fall. Being good in Nebraska is different than being good in Kansas these days.

                  Great find @RoyalShock:!

At first I wasn't overly impressed with the accolades. Then I realized she's only going to be a junior this year. I think it says a lot about our program to get a Nebraska girl this early. Her progress will be interesting to follow.

I've been told that recruiting for volleyball, at least in today's terms, is mostly done by the time the kids enter their junior year in high school, and especially at the top end. There are many dynamics involved, but that mostly seems to be the way it is.

Found another article about her commitment.

I was surprised to read the other interested schools were SIU-E and Elon. I would have expected at a program at least the caliber of Creighton would have been on her list. But we know what Lambo can do with raw, athletic talent. No worries.

This may well be the key to her recruitment:

“The (Wichita State) coaches loved that I could be a six-rotation player and play at both pins,” Davis said. “And they said they liked my competitiveness on the court.”

Seeing tweets that Lauren Hinrichs from Doniphan, NE has committed to the Shockers. She is a 6-1 hitter and graduates in 2016.

Tweet from Grand Island, NE newspaper reporter:

I've been through the west edge of Doniphan on Tom Osborne Expressway. We've had pretty good luck with Nebraska players.
