USF picked up three unearned runs in the fifth to tie the game in regulation. Charlotte had taken the lead with a three-run homer in the fourth. No tiebreaker in Conference play.

A 2-out double and single, both well hit, plate a run for FAU in the 1st.

In the bottom of the 1st a lead of ground single to center by CC, a walk to Addie and a wild pitch gave the Shockers runners at 2nd and 3rd with no outs but Taylor fouled out to 1st, Burbs hit an easy one hopper to the pitcher, and Lainee fouled out to right. All 3 looked overmatched.by the FAU pitcher.

Choe struggling with her command. Walks the first 2 batters in the 2nd. Right now things are not looking very good for the Shocks in this game. Chloe comes back to get stike out the 8 and 9 hole hitters and induce infield pop handled by Krystin on the Owls' lead off slapper.

Easy 1-2-3 inning for the Owls' Sacco in the 2nd.

I do like the new look uniforms the Shocks are wearing today. At least I don't recall seeing these before. Hope that doesn't prove to be the highlight of the game for the Shocks.

All of sudden Chloe goes extremely wild in the 3rd and HCKB has seen enough. Alison Cooper comes on to pitch for the Shockers.

Chloe pulled after a walk to start the 3rd. She threw 2 straight pitches well over everyone's head to walk and then another to the next batter that Lainee barely snagged to keep the runner on first. Coach B had seen enough and Coop is in.

Edit: Walked the 2nd batter. First weakly hit one back to the circle

Not technicallly an error. It was clearly a throwing error. She had to rush her throw after having a little bobble on the exchange.

CC may have been a victim of the north wind with a long flyball out to CF.
Addie on the next pitch overpowers that wind to blast one out to LCF
Taylor follows up with a solo bomb to CF
Bailey rips one past a diving SS for a single
WP moves Bailey to 2nd
Lainee walked
Caroline just missed a 3 run bomb that goes foul. She follows that up by leaving no doubt and crushes that 3 run bomb to CF!
Shox take the lead 6-5 with one out in the 3rd. Her first of what will be many HRs as a Shocker.

The Shocker bats awaken from their slumber. Maybe it took one time through the lineup to measure this pither and/or HCKB may have had some choce words on their approach the first time through the order. Looks like HCKB held one of team meetings in the outfield between innings.
Now we need to have the pitching step up.
