Great performance! 20/20/27 against one of the very top teams (no longer #1 probably) for a rebuild team might make this a reload team. Hope there's enough left in the tank for tonight's match against the top 10 team who took down #1 Stanford. Their house will be very loud and a test for this young Shocker all by itself.

A new level of opposition for our new six-row players (Tabitha and Alex named) on service and swings over the top of the block.

Girls were happy with their effort. Competed and (Mike) a growing experience.

Liked that Alex and Megan kept attacking.

Gio unhappy with herself, thought she should have dug more. Need to work on getting her back for tonight's match.

BYU will show a different level of speed (shot or movement? not clear) than Stanford.

I don't think you are going see balls hit any hard or faster that what Stanford can deliver. I think he was referring the speed of their attack and movement.

True, but BYU has 6 players 6-3 to 6-7 and none of them are named Roni Jones-Perry (their 1st team AA senior). Speed, power and size are good to have in volleyball. BYU has all 3.

Stanford and WVU are just starting Set 3 with Stanford steamrolling WVU so far 25-9 and 25-9 in sets 1 and 2.

Stanford finishes the sweep at 25-12 in the 3rd set.

Stanford hit .432 to -.070 for WVU.

Obviously BYU is very, very good. They are not quite as physically imposing as Stanford although they are tall in the middle at 6-4 and 6-5. However, they are not real tall on the outside with the outside hitters that saw most of the playing time against Stanford going 6-0, 6-1, 5-10 and 5-10. They obviously are doing somehting right though. BYU does run a 5-1 attack.

However, the Shocks won't see a 6-6, 6-6, 6-4 front line that Stanford rotated into at times.

That said I just hope the Shocks can continue to play tough.

At 745p, 23 minutes until game time according to BYU Twitter feed. Nothing from Mike yet, not even an open mic that we sometimes hear.

                  Shockers v BYU

LiveStats and WatchStadium, but no Mike - at least for me.

Just learned from video commentator that we are in our second year in the All-American Conference. Exactly why I watch and don't listen to that.

                    Set One

Kora and Kali are the setters.

Reload of the link and I have Mike.

3-7 before the ship begins to steady.

Then 9-10, 12-15 and 15 all and a BYU TO.

Is there a free video feed for the game?

I have Mike on my laptop. But have not been able to get Mike on my cell phone this year on either my phone or my wife's phone. We use Verizon. Any tips on that?

                            16-19 and a Shocker TO.

Good to see a rowdy student crowd.

16-21 and the second TO. Kora and Tabitha just totally missed. Jordan is now in.

Couldn't stop the bleeding. Cougars, 25-16.

                            .036 v .333.

Grace is best at 3-1-6 for .333.

                            Jones-Perry is 7-0-9 for .778.
