We've held our own in every game and looked totally over-matched in every game.

BYU better at every position and at every skill and had a great crowd behind them. Not a formula for success for a Shocker team that was a little bit shell-shocked in the 2nd half of the 1st two sets.

Post-match comments

Mid-set runs in sets one and two really hurt. Disappointed we did not fight back very well.

Roni Jones-Perry is the best outside we will see all year.

Having Tabitha and Alex as six-row players is difficult for them because we cannot replicate in the gym the speed they saw tonight.

Because we are so young, it can be difficult to make adjustments out of the base defense.

Regan tried to play on a sore ankle and Abby was playing some right-side because a few were not playing well and did not continue to compete. Conversations will be had. (He admitted maybe he shouldn't be saying this.)

This week, there will be time to practice and work on the list of things.

I think the crowd was a factor but not the difference. How much of a factor is hard to say. The difference was the talent and skill of the BYU team.
