I had 24 boards in a tournament game one time, but fouled out and called the official an f'ing d on the way to the bench, and as it turned out, on the way to the locker room.
That didn't work out so well for me.
He dropped a deuce in our locker room before the game started and that didn't really get us off on the right foot.
But I was all over the boards that night.
Later in life, I got tossed for identifying an official as being nuttier than a fruitcake, which of course he was. I didn't think I should get the gate for speaking the truth. His nephew (a post player for the other team) thought it was funny at the time.
