We got exactly what we need in this recruiting class! Really happy about it. We have two guards that can play the point or the 2 and are both taller than 6'3", an experienced top of the line PF, and a freshman PF that has a ton of upside and is expected to contribute right away.

Where does everyone think our class will rank in the valley?

Great get!!! This year's class looks really good.

Hall apprears to be one of those guys that our opponents used to have but we couldn't stop. Love the talent upgrade under HCGM.

Hope Sexton is gearing up the keep the coach campaign!

This is a pretty good place to coach and raise kids. Pay the man and give him what he needs to suceed so we can get to the next level. The opportunity is here to be a prennial power without all of the stress and expectations that go with BCS schools.

I guess you haven't been paying attention. Drake has the best class the last 2 years. UNI has the best class with 5 stars in next year. Next year it's Drake again with Creighton right there. Bradley has their usual stable of 4* recruits on the way to Peoria and of course Illinois State will compete with the Braves. Coach Lowery has turned around the SIU fortunes.

Just look at the list posted earlier.

JucoJunction is supposed to come out with their top 150 any day now. It will be interesting to see where Hall falls on the list.

It came out today. Anybody a JucoJunction member? I forgot about Karron Johnson, also a power forward I believe. He will probably be the overall #1. So, I'm hoping Hall will be at least #3 PF.

It's free. Carl is ranked overall #4 behind Johnson, DeWitt and Goff. They have him listed as the #1 ranked Center.

Does that make him a 4 start recruit since the guy behind him is a four star center? When was the last time we signed a four star guy?

No.

#2 DeWitt (to Southern Miss) and #4 Hall committed to mid-majors. #s 1, 3, 5, and 6 all committed to BCS schools therefore, they must be at least 3 or 4 star players.

Top 10 Juco is roughly equivalent to a top 100 HS player, or a "4 star" guy. The stars that Goff and other BCSers got were garnered out of HS and stuck with them. Hall was a "lesser" HS guy, so no stars. He has, however, proven himself to be a player.
