Although next year we already add 3 if you include Hawk into the depth chart.

All I know is it will be real hard to turn down Kyles. He could easily project to be all-conference during his Senior year. Harder to turn down Stutz and in the Spring if we would be so lucky, impossible to turn down Payne.

You're right. I must be getting old to have forgotten the soaring Hawk. But I also wonder if he'll end up playing quite a bit at the SF position. I'm expecting Ellis to eventually split minutes between the 3 and 4.

I hope we have enough bigs that Ellis won't have to play the 4. I think we'd be better off if he just plays the 3 and Hawk can just play the 2. Of course, that's in a perfect world.

I'm torn on Kyles. I REALLY like the kid but I don't want to get over loaded and not have room for some bigs. I'm sure it'll all work itself out as they usually do, but I'd really like to have Stutz first.

I could see the possibility of getting 4, but 5 seems a bit high. I don't want to speculate on who may be the 1 or 2 to leave but there's nobody I could name for certain anyway.

yeah this kid really sounds like a good player but we need another big with our one schollie left, but if another one opens up i'd love to have this kid

Anybody hear how his visit went? I believe that if we can get a verbal from him and Stultz, we'll take them both and let the chips fall where they may.

I agree. I would guess there is a 100% chance that one of the underclassmen don't return next year. That would be 4 schollies and that would fill all of our needs for a couple of years.

Don't know how it went, and it may be a bit before we hear anything....

In the event that everything checks out on Kyles' visit to Wichita, don't necessarily look for him to commit. He notes that he would like to take all his trips before making any kind of decision or commitment.
And from sounds of it on an Oct 16th article we are his first planned visit
"He called me around noon and was thrilled," Brandt said. "He said he was going to be a Shocker forever." -- RIP Guy, you WILL indeed be a Shocker forever!

I just noticed WSU is now listed #1 on his list.
