Tyler Brown is the best high school player I've seen in quite a while. Double-teamed all night by Hutch, he had 42 pts and 11 assists.

Teacher at Hutch High for 51 years, sportscaster for 48 years, and golf tournament administrator since 1976. From someone that has seen him play and knows a few other players over the decades.

I love local players. Love having them at WSU. I hope he plays for Wichita State and has a great career. We are enjoying the heck out of Wichita area players like Evan Wessel, Conner Frankamp and the many others who have played for us. Would be fun to have another and maybe Tyler Brown will be.

I actually thought his passing was pretty darn good. He has a low release on his shot but appears to be a smart player, sees the court well. He'd probably thrive at Evansville.

I don't know the family so I don't have anything bad to say, but they are all extremely dedicated to Tyler's basketball career even though odds are that he doesn't make any money off of it. Good Luck.
