There is no such thing as a conditional letter of intent, so I'm not sure where you're getting that. SHJ and AM both signed National Letters of Intent, and will be scholarship players at WSU. SHJ will certainly not be walking on, and neither will AM. He did initially give a verbal commitment, which was followed up later by signing the National Letter of Intent.

The whole thing about SHJ not signing an 'official' letter falls in the category of what Trump would like to say is 'fake news'.

Except in this case, it really is 'fake news', as you pointed out.

I hope we can get this put to rest. The same exact comments seem to keep cropping up from time to time.

New faces on hold — Newcomers Samajae Haynes-Jones and Asbjorn Midtgaard are not yet eligible to work out with the Shockers.

Marshall said he expects both to join the team later this summer, although he is unsure of the timetable.

“Both of them are working to finish up some academic stuff,” Marshall said.

Haynes-Jones is a guard from Wichita who attended Hutchinson Community College and will be a junior. Midtgaard, a center from Denmark, will be a freshman at WSU.
