What the article doesn't say is how many Danes play in that league. So he is one of the better young Danish players. Not sure what that tells us for sure.

I suppose so. I think Asbjorn is going to be a good player for the Shocks but it may take a little patience. Looking forward to seeing him play. Coming out to see Asbjorn in person may be the biggest draw for me at this fall's Shocker Madness.

Miidtgard has been playing against full-grown men who are at or near his size, not against HS players 6" shorter than he is. His D1 stats could (immediately) be at the level of his stats in Europe.

He is going to have to adjust to playing D1 rules instead of international rules, and he has quite a culture change to adjust to. Marshall has the absolute luxury of bringing him along slowly. AM gets his Fr year as an adjustment period with some on-court time against some decent players so he won't be as raw next year when he's needed.

I'm optimistic.
