I couldn't remember who the broadcaster was but I do remember the interview. Thanks for sharing that!

It would be even more impressive if he could throw a knuckle curve with it!

        Haven't we signed this guy?

Why does Samajae thread say so and the guy is just committed?

Not a junior team. He is 100 percent playing in the pro league -- but not getting paid, presumably.

Here's the boxscore of a recent game against Bakken where he had 14 points and 15 rebounds vs Akoon-Purcell's team: http://basketball.realgm.com/interna...m-79ers/246374

We need ball-getters. Hopefully he is a ball-getter.

Wish I could find a picture of that but for comparison's sake, check out this photo of Greg when he played for the Pacers:

                    5 fouls in 12 minutes.

Guess the Valley refs are doing some warm-up games and learned he had signed with WSU.

In the game mentioned before this one, AM's team lost (other team was 3-0), his team's other center did not play, so AM took on the opposing team's 3 centers of 6'10', 6'11', and 7'2". Their line was 15 points, 5 rebounds, 7 fouls vs AM's 14 points, 15 rebounds, and 0 fouls.

Last week after the exhibition, on his show, Marshall mentioned that would sign 1 or 2 and they were waiting on a decision (must have been AM) from a recruit. You could hear a little frustration as he said that " We offered and We've been told NO before". My thoughts went to the Top 100 Bigs we didn't get and were in the last 2 schools. One went to UAB, another went to Purdue, Rhode Island. All of these kids were 6'11 to 7'0 tall and Top 150 players. Gregg finally nabbed one.

Seriously, though: Think of the difference in experience and polish this kid has over, say, all-MVC center Garrett Stutz at this point in his development. Garret was playing against small school KC kids. Asbjorn -- albeit with a late start in the sport -- has been mixing it up with success against full-grown men. I saw new pro Paul Miller dominate incoming freshman Stutz so bad in a summer pickup game that I thought he was gonna cry. I'm pretty sure Asbjorn would have held his own.
