You look at the picture of the Great Dane that was in the Eagle without any other information and you might guess this is a 6-5 shooting guard. Then you look at his hands around the basektball and you go hmmmmmmm, maybe not.

I wonder if he plays for a "junior" team? If so, he's probably not playing against the aforementioned MVC legends.

Let's hope he can make it into the country... with that wall that someone wants to build, you never know....

I checked some of the other players on his team. That ain't no junior team. Leading scorer on his team is a 6'9", 24 yr. old PF who played college ball in Georgia, although I think he played for a D2 team.

AM is averaging 10 ppg this year to go along with his 9.8 boards. Looks like his offensive game is coming along. He's shooting over 50% (IIRC, 52%) from the field.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.

I would accept 10 points and 10 rebounds and 1.5 blocks on year one or two.

How many minutes are you allowing AM to play to produce those numbers? lol

I'm operating off of memory because the stats for his team aren't set up like we're used to seeing.

I believe he's getting his numbers in 25 minutes.

What's more, the kid has only been playing since he was 14. Just think what 3G and this staff will do with this young man!

Many of us old timers will likely remember Greg Dreiling and how big his hands were. I'll never forget the day I met him and shook his hand. I've never felt so small in my life.

If I'm reading this right, AM is the fourth rated Euro bigman in his class, and he holds a ranking equivant to 3.5 stars, or about top 200. The three guys above him are legit, with the #1 signing at Arizona as a top 25 player and the other two playing professionally, but expected to be drafted in the NBA.

                            Livin the dream

Well I said year one or Two. Probably year 2 is more realistic. He appears headed to be the only returnIng big man.

However if you pro rate his minutes on year 1 to 12-13 minutes, he would be 5 and 5. That is acceptable too.

Gregg did an interview with Al McGuire on NBC, where he palmed a basketball with just a thumb and only 1 or 2 fingers..
