      Seriously?

He's playing this season -- for Hutch Juco. That's why there's so much talk about Hutch this year in this thread.

Don't worry about it 1388 ... this time of year Shockernetters' basketball withdrawals are at a high, causing unusual crankiness:livid: Things should get better around November 5th

So another JUCO All-American ... and one that is a die hard WSU fan ... I'll take it.

Last week I was eating lunch and there was a hutch assistant basketball coach next to us. I was sporting my WSU jacket and he asked if I was a fan. He then asked if I knew about Samajae and being a shockernetter I had info that I doubt he was expecting. I asked him about the kids size and he said he was worried at first but the more he sees him play that is completely erased. He said the kid is lightning quick but is only a point guard. He then told me about the recruiting process and basically that it is the kids goal all along to play at WSU, even back when he signed at Butler. He then said that Marshall was in to see Samajae but did not have a scholarship at that time. They told him that Texas and ASU were coming in the next week and then the scholly opened up and he signed his non binding. Quickest recruiting he has ever seen. Sounds like his recruitment was really going to get exciting, glad me got him early and even better that his dream was to play at WSU.

FYI -- Hutch plays an exhibition at Newman U. on Thurs. Oct. 27 at 4 p.m.
“The rebellion on the populist right against the results of the 2020 election was partly a cynical, knowing effort by political operators and their hype men in the media to steal an election or at least get rich trying. But it was also the tragic consequence of the informational malnourishment so badly afflicting the nation. ... Americans gorge themselves daily on empty informational calories, indulging their sugar fixes of self-affirming half-truths and even outright lies.'

how did this seemingly talented person, from wichita, fall through the cracks?

everybody wants the great wichita players and this guy just fell into wichita state. no hype, no nothing. but here he is real deal blowing up all of the sudden. interesting recruit. who needs sunrise academy?

He's small and was academically ineligible.

Particularly since we're in the middle of election season too!! It'll be nice when it's over (unless WWIII has started by then)

He was 1st team All-State out of HS. His eligibility problems probably kept him from getting much press. Even with that, he seems to have blown up in JuCo.

Kind of an interesting 2015 All-State team looking at it now.

No problem, 1388. Besides, you got me back by calling me Bill Nye, who's a member of the Church of Global Warming, which I decidedly am not.
Thanks to Aargh, too. That 2015 team contains some familiar names.
