He doesn't try to create on his own (relative to his athletic advantage) but would rather let the opportunities present themselves. Basically he's passive and doesn't force the action, which is an attribute one would look for in a less athletic individual.

I question the assessment about his scoring mentality. By the way, I am not questioning your post. Merely another person's opinion of 7's attitude toward scoring.

Not at all. The argument is that he is so gifted that he should have scored 30 per game. This is not to say that he isn't a special player, rather it is to say that his scoring is ho hum when compared to his ability to score.

Andrew Wiggins is an example of this. He was taking a lot of heat since he was not dominating the college ranks, that is, he only averaged 17. Doug McDemott, OTOH, somehow averaged better than 25 while appearing athletically to be a moderate scorer with a predictive range of 10-15.

We like to make sure we have several solid guards. Now here is an exceptional player that could ease the pain when FVV graduates. Steelshocker is correct. Woods is a prototype Shocker. Yes, bring X's son with him.

we are in real good shape 1-3, 4 and 5 is the issue we need some good quality size. We need shot blocking and scoring especially after Carter leaves.
