Not that I blame EH for it.
There are a couple assistants, but most are head coaches. Mark Fox, Cuonzo Martin, Matt Painter, Billy Donovan, and Tom Crean among others.

    • Don't know if they were all there at the same time or just a montage but those were quite a few recognizable folks there. I do like the way he is active around the basket.

My point was it wasn't really highlighting his skills so much as showing a lot of schools were interested in him. I like to have that information but not really in a youtube video.

                • How great is it that these incoming players will get to play with and be around FVV and Ron Baker and Tekele Cotton when they are freshman? Talk about a damn good thing.

It's amazing what guys like Graham, Garrett, Toure and others started that guys like Hall, Cotton, FVV, and Baker have continued.

                      • This isn't just referring to Hamilton, but imagine the Fr coming in over summer. All through the basketball season they've been hearing about and following Baker and VanVleet in the national media. When they get here, one of the first things they see is how those two guys run pickup games in summer ball.

That should simplify Marshall's job quite a bit once "official" practices start. Marshall's practices might be easier than the ones VanVleet and Baker run. With the right recruits, the attitude that's building in the Shocker locker room can be carried on through many years.

                        • Not exactly on topic for Hamilton either, but to follow up on Aargh's point: assuming it's true that Baker and FVV lead pickup games during the summer -- and, having never seen a Shocker pickup game, I have no particular reason to doubt it -- what does it say about those two guys that two sophomores (even if one's a redshirt) are the ones in charge at that point? Granted, they've been around as long as anyone at WSU except Cotton and Wessel, but still: sophomores, rising sophomores at that, as leaders?

I'm glad we have 2 1/2 more years of each to anticipate and enjoy.

I don't think practice would be any easier if Cotton and Wessel were running it, either. That there is four tough hombres

Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".

A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."

                              • This is one of the things that continuity in coaching staffs has, upper classmen that know how the drills and practices go. The coaching staff doesn't have to start from square one for everyone. More teaching the concepts rather than step one, step two etc.
