Rashard Kelly '14 cf 6-6 is a Shocker!

Now here is a player that intriques me. Now more so because somebody asked 3G "who could come in and replace Cle among the new recruits." Of course 3G reminded this person that nobody can come in and replace an NBA type player right away which makes sense. He did hesitate momentarily to think, and then mentioned Rashard Kelly, followed by Brown and Hamilton as players that could most likely help by committee. Who knows, we may not be totally done recruiting yet? Dunno, but Mr. Kelly reminds me of a protype Shocker player from all I have read. Our Coaches do great at finding such players that can blend right into our squad.

Kelly is going to be good. His wheelhouse lays somewhere between Tekele Cotton and Carl Hall. He's an athletic banger and defense first kinda guy. Will need to get stronger, but he has the right body type to do so.

If Early is 6-8, then in that Instagram of Early, Kelly, and CJ, 6-7 would be stretching it.

Of course, if Early was 6-8½, then I could see Kelly being 6-7.
