    • It looks like he's standing on his tippy toes.

Of course, if Early was 6-8½, then I could see Kelly being 6-7.
Chadrack and Early are also closer to the camera than Kelly.

        • He's 6-6 or 6-7. Doesn't matter, but always better to be taller.

It's also always better to be better than taller. He's gonna be a 4 year stud and has a decent chance to start some games his freshman year.

Thanks for the nice picture of Señora Rio and me.

              • What we need, and my hope for him, is that he becomes the guy that just becomes a rebounding beast. Shox have a lot of good rebounders, but are missing the guy that gets consistently 8+ a game and the occasional 20! :)

I'm thinking a reincarnation of Claudius Johnson and Troy Mack. If he does that…..

                    • From Fredricksburg.com:

Spotsylvania County resident Rashard Kelly has been invited to play in a tournament with the United States Elite Basketball U19 team in Milan, Italy, April 17–22.

Kelly completed a postgraduate season at Hargrave Military Academy earlier this month. He attended Chancellor as a freshman before a two-year stint at Bishop O’Connell in Arlington and one year at Massanutten Military Academy. He has signed a national letter of intent to play for Wichita State.
“It’s a real big opportunity,” Kelly said of playing in Italy. “Being in the same area for a while and playing the same people, you get used to it. But especially with the overseas rules, this will give you a chance to expand your game a little more and not get used to the same fundamentals.”
Kelly, a 6-foot-7 forward, has also been invited to the Elite Showcase Basketball Classic, which will be held Sunday at Trinity University in Washington.

                        • Sounds like great preparation -- I expect Kelly to be more ready than the average freshman when he arrives.

I haven't checked through the threads, but wouldn't Kelly be likely to have some acquaintance with Jordan *******?

Rashard is No. 0 in white and looks good. He's a face up 3 and moves and passes very well. He started and had three assists and two points in his segment.
