    1. As I understand it, we have 14 scholarship commitments. The limit is 13.
    2. If the Shockers commit to Brown for the 2013 class, then we will have 15 scholarship commitments.
    3. Fifteen minus thirteen is two. (15-13=2). The Shockers will be two over the limit.
    4. Where did I run off into the ditch?
See the post by @shockmonster: above where he's reclassified as a 2014 recruit and heading to prep school.

Trying to find stats it looks as though he spent this year (his senior season) at south kent. I guess he is going to spend one more season as a "prep" season there as well?

Could be a good pickup. If nothing else, having a good defender that guard multiple positions is always useful. Reminds me a little of Toure. However, I think we have more need at the 4 and 5 spot in 2014, without Lufile, Coleby, or Early.

The 70th ranked player in the USA could be a good pickup, indeed.

            I like 70. What's not to like?

We currently project to have: seniors Earl Watson and Darius Carter and sophomores Derail Green and Shaquille Morris

Derail has never been mentioned as a 4 and always as a tall wing.

Not true. He has been mentioned as a wing and a stretch 4. It has not been determined where he will play. I will try and find the mention of him possibly bulking up and playing the 4.

It may have been mentioned, but if we ever need him to play the 4, even the "stretch 4", something has gone terribly, terribly wrong.

Doc, Maybe you have some inside baseball on this but Marshall is the one to mention him as a possible 4.

Gregg is a fantastic coach, but he's not perfect. :)

We're getting a little derailed, so to speak, talking about Green in Zachary Brown's thread, but 6-7, 199 (as listed on Goshockers) are not dimensions normally associated with the PF position. He'd need to do some serious bulking.

I am confused as well as derailed.

                                Per ESPN/Scout, Brown is 6-7 and 180.
