Loved this verbal. But now that we are into 2014 recruits, could someone update the "Signings and Verbals" Thread? I'm sure someone is far more up to date than I am on all the comings and goings in the 2013 class and what we have as far as redshirts and signings. Since we now have verbals from at least two in 2014, it would be nice to have a little summary of those guys as well as the new 2013 signees. From the 2012 summary, I know that Hawkins is gone (flakey as he was I think we are better off) and that Green is still on roster after a redshirt year, but where do we stand on Uwadiae?

Why does the Future 150 rankings not get anymore play on here than it does? Is Rivals the gold standard? You'll notice that our recruits get better respect or play on Future 150 than on Rivals or Scout (you see Brown, a 4 star at #70 on 2014, and Bowles a 3 star at #150 on 2013, Morris a 3 star was #145 several months ago and now is at #151). Brown is listed above others from Sunrise Christian like Nairn, etc. Future 150 also has good information on recruits listing strengths, weaknesses, rankings, etc. It seems to be a pretty good site for information.

Future 150 does not have the reputation of scout and rivals which has been built up over time.

trop is best to comment on this, but Future150 looks like an up-and-coming rating service. They don't yet have the network of Rivals, but could see them reaching the level of Rivals in a couple of years.

Up up and away--wow!!! 6'6" shooting guard, can guard the 1,2,3, #70, can sky high, penetrate, and let's hope he has a crossover that is approved by Shoelace. Maybe the brotherhood of coaches don't approve? Who cares because the upgrades in our recruiting just keep getting better and it is impossible for us to contain our excitement about the resplendent future of Shocker Hoops!!!! Great verbal for us!!!!!!!
