I have not seen anything that says we'd have a 'ship for second semester. Everything I've seen says Bowles gets it the entire year and then can be moved to a 'ship that doesn't count against the 13 for next season.

Guys, he's probably just on an unofficial to reaffirm his selection. I'm sure it's not imperative that he's back in classes first thing Monday morning.

Brown has graduated from HS. The chances of WSU having an available schollie second semester are very good.

Brown was here and taking classes last summer. He doesn't need to be enrolled at Sunrise or WSU. He could just be hanging out - and waiting for 2nd semester. I get the feeling that he would be able to find some way to get info without attending practices.

I don't think there's anything in any NCAA tules that prevents non-scholarship players from getting time in the practice facility or having significant contact with current players.

I hate to see a scholarship wasted on a second-semester player. If Brown gets a second-semester schollie and RS's this year - think in terms of Couisnard and Baker about what happens to a good player when they get significant practice time with the varsity and a year to mature before their Fr year.

I really dislike mid-termers. Invariably, it leads to heart break. See Dave Stallworth.

I support the idea of a scholarship for Brown in the second semester of this season and a red shirt.

Rules have changed. If he started playing at 2nd semester for WSU, it would count as his whloe freshman year. We really need a pg, not a wing for this year.
