Any reports of Zach being in Wichita this weekend? Just saw him post on twitter that he's about to head up to the Wichita mall. Seems a little late on a Sunday to be in town for a visit... Any chance he may be making a late transfer to Sunrise?

No. We do not have a scholarship.

I think the only speculation is that perhaps as a Shocker commit, maybe he wants to transfer and play closer to Shocker Nation and do his prep year at Sunrise. No official word on that, only found it interesting that he's in Wichita and didn't appear to be leaving soon as he was headed out to the mall instead of ICT.

And even if we had a 'ship, I don't think we'd waste a full year of this kid for half a season. But we don't have a 'ship which either means he has a really late flight out to head back to Kent, or he's staying in town and prepping at Sunrise or even Word of Life. Sunrise would make more sense considering the talent level.

We will have a second semester scholarship open. He could practice with the team this year as a RS. Walk on first semester. Scholly second.

I have not seen anything that says we'd have a 'ship for second semester. Everything I've seen says Bowles gets it the entire year and then can be moved to a 'ship that doesn't count against the 13 for next season.
