So basically what you're saying SteeleShock is that you are an aeronautical engineer, OSU ME's that you've worked with in the aeronautical industry are better because they are studying both aeronautical and mechanical engineering.
Which means, for aeronautical engineering purposes, OSU's ME's are probably superior. However, not all ME's are created equal, and that was my point. While there are crossover courses, I would bet that if a student was interested in the aeronautical industry, and they were considering WSU, they would most probably be more interested in aeronautical engineering than mechanical engineering. And the mechanical engineers studying at WSU want to go in a different direction, or they would be studying aeronautical engineering.
I think you should have qualified your original statement more and I probably wouldn't want you to host any prospective student-athlete who would be interested in studying Mechanical Engineering. You might cost us a really good recruit.
