            • Possibly a chance to watch Shaq next week. ZCast is streaming the Edmond Open Tournament Dec. 6-9. Times and opponents are TBD.

“The rebellion on the populist right against the results of the 2020 election was partly a cynical, knowing effort by political operators and their hype men in the media to steal an election or at least get rich trying. But it was also the tragic consequence of the informational malnourishment so badly afflicting the nation. ... Americans gorge themselves daily on empty informational calories, indulging their sugar fixes of self-affirming half-truths and even outright lies.'

              • He's definitely a big body and I like that he's going to throw it down when he gets a shot. Just wait until his explosiveness improves under KR. I'd like to see what his touch is like a little farther out, but I'll take a bunch of dunks and layups anyday.

                • After just one viewing of that this morning when I was still half asleep, my impression was that he was by far the biggest player on the floor that night. It may not have been the best judge of what he can do against players at least as big and talented as he is.

But it's still hard to explain away 30 points on such a talented team. It would be like discounting Perry Ellis scoring half his team's points when he was a junior at Heights.

                  • Great point. But I also like that he was still working to position himself. I hope we see video of him agaisnt some bigger guys, but I have a good feeling about this kid.

                    • I agree with Royal. He had such a big size advantage in that clip that it probably doesn't really tell you much at all about he will project at the next level.

He projects to be 6'9 and 260 pounds at the next level, that tells me enough.

So you're thinking he might be hard to move off the block when he gets set?

                          • Good grief...I hope we're not complaining about this kid. All you need to know is that Marshall wanted him. I really can't think of one recruit that Marshall has brought in that probably wouldn't start for other Valley teams with just a few exceptions due to the likes of McDermott and Colt Ryan.
